Outstanding Young Scientist Award

One of the main projects of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) is to
promote the younger and more recently established scientists. Amongst
several different programs, we would like to draw your attention to the
« Outstanding Young Scientist Award », which is now open for proposals:

We therefore invite you to submit appropriate suggestions to the
corresponding Division Presidents by 30 June 2007:

Between July and August 2007, the Division Presidents and their
Secretaries will select their best candidate amongst those proposed and
forward him/her to the Union President. During September 2007 the Union
President together with the Division Presidents will then select the
max.3 very best candidates for approval by the Union Council in October
2007. The awards will then be presented at the EGU General Assembly 2008
in Vienna.
